TLC, Salt-N-Pepa, En Vogue set for Brandon Amphitheater show in September

TLC and Salt-N-Pepa, joined by En Vogue, will perform at Brandon Amphitheater on Sept. 27, the amphitheater announced. The concert is billed as “It’s Iconic.”

Tickets are set to go on sale at 10 a.m. local time Thursday, March 26, the announcement said. Additional ticket information is available through Brandon Amphitheater.

According to People.com, Salt-N-Pepa emerged in the mid-1980s and helped bring female rap into the mainstream with songs such as “Push It,” “Shoop” and “Whatta Man.” Their collaboration on “Whatta Man” also featured En Vogue. TLC is a Grammy-winning R&B group that rose to prominence in the 1990s and remains a major draw on reunion and nostalgia tours.

The pairing of several well-known R&B and hip-hop acts reflects a continuing market for legacy acts and multi-artist packages that appeal to fans of 1980s and 1990s pop and urban music. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
